I lived with a sociopath for 6 months some years ago. Yeah, yeah, I know... she stroked my ego and used testosterone against me.... At any rate, it took me that long to come to a turning point where I either had to participate in her lies, or disengage to save my integrity (and sanity).
I repeat that little story because Congress is rapidly coming to that point with Trump with what was revealed today about the meeting with the Russians in the White house.
Trump revealed to the chief (Russian Ambassador) of the KGB (or whatever the agency is now) enough information to identify our source of classified information, and therefore put that spy and his network's lives in jeopardy.
Remember when Trump disrespected the CIA wall of honor? If you don't, I can assure you our intelligence community remembers.
Our CIA agents did not sign up to be a spy and risk their lives in order to provide ego strokes to a child in the White House! My bet is that messages are coming to Langley fast and furious that our agents in the field want to come home NOW.
Our Allies, be they NATO, or otherwise are not willing to put their intelligence gathering networks at risk with such a deprived maniac in the White House. We are getting dozens of messages from our allies that they will now limit what they share with us... implying they may not continue to even share intelligence while Trump is in charge.
Trump has made this country an order or two LESS safe, all because of his damned immature ego! Colbert nailed it last night. Trump is like a 5 year old going to the bathroom in the salad bar. Sooner of later, his parents (Congress) have to stop him, or be guilty of supporting such behavior.
The difference between this and Nixon/Kissinger extending the Viet Nam war to get elected and Raygun selling arms to Iran in exchange for the prisoners is that those guy were smart enough to keep it quite; whereas Trump brags about it without realizing what he has done.
